Enhanced Safety and Hygiene Measures at Altruderm Clinic During COVID-19
Pre Procedure
Consultation Process
Our consultation process is now also supported with video calls when appropriate, for example for simple review appointments. All appointments are with the doctor.
Pre-Screening Appointment
You will be required to complete a COVID-19 screening questionnaire prior to your face-to-face appointment. We will contact you prior to your appointment to enquire if any details have changed.
Hygiene
Facemasks
Please wear a facemask on entry to the clinic otherwise one will be provided.
Sanitiser
We have introduced sanitizing stations in clinic which should be used by patients on entry and exit of the clinic.
Cleaning
Additional, enhanced cleaning measures are in place between each patient and at
the end of the clinic day, now including air filtration.
PPE
Clinic staff will wear facemasks and full PPE equipment for procedures.
Social Distancing
Staggered Appointments
Appointments will be staggered to minimise risk of crossover and facilitate time for enhanced cleaning measures.
Reception
We accept card payments only during this time. Unfortunately, we are not able to serve tea or coffee however we are happy to provide bottled water. Perspex screens have been erected.
Attend Alone
Patients should attend appointments alone but may contact us to arrange special assistance if required.
Patient Information Leaflets
Procedure information, such as pre-care and after-care will be sent to you via email with
hardcopies no longer on display in the waiting room.
Keeping Our Distance
All patients and staff must abide by the social distancing rules, except during examinations and procedures.
Temperature Check
All patients will be screened for a fever on arrival. If a temperature of 37.8C or above is recorded we will ask you re-book and talk you through your next steps.
